Sequence?

I think that it might be a sequence of the novel, but it can´t have the principal characters Bruno and Smuel. It might be about the life of the family after the terrible situation and also about how they survived or the situation that they still living during the world war II. It would be interesant because we can know how world war II ends and the consequences and also the benefits that this brought on.

Conclusion

I think that the novel "The boy with the striped pyjamas", is a great description of what happened in extermination camps, and also the big difference that there was between jewish people lifes and german people lifes. We can notice in this novel that sometimes the people that is rich and most powerfull doesn´t care about poor people, instead they use their power and wealth in a bad way, in this case to exterminate these people who were poor or misshapened. I really liked this novel because it shows how childhood is the best time of our lifes, and how children doesn´t think about war or hating people just because the religion, race or different ideas. For that I recomended other people to read this book, because it does not just make us think about beeing good human beeing or nice with the people who is different from us, it also shows us how the world can be a peaceful place and also the concecuences like a war, for just dont tolerate the others.

As we can see many people thinks that yhis is a good book with a good intention to tell people the history of the holocaust and how this affect to a lot of people and also killed million of them and changed completely not only german and jewish lifes, also a lot of people´s lifes. 

We can also see that there are people who took this book as an insult because they remember the time that they spent in the holocaust or the time in the world war II and for them is an insult because they think that the author is makeing fun of them or took the situation just to write a book.

Music

This book talks about the horror that jewish people lived in the holocaust and how the childhood of two children were interrupted and also unpleacent for that the music that may be good for this book is a sad music and also classical for the time where the context of the book is happening. For that reason I think that moonlight from Beethoven is a good example of the music that this book should have to transmite different emotions and get peoples attention and also involve them with the situations that the book relate.

Mexican version?

There can be a mexican version of the book. The reason is because the book talks about the horror that jewish people live trough the world war II and how they were treated in a sinister way and also exterminated in concentration camps. When spanish people control mexican territory and also the government they enslave people from the different mexican culture and also treat them in a sinister way, letting them in poverty and also enforcing them to live the way they say and also to practice the religion they practice. There were no holocaust for them but they were also exterminated and forced to do hard work. For that reasons there can be a movie based in the novel the boy with the striped pyjamas about an indigen boy from mexico that meet a spanish boy in the period of the conolization of Mexico.

The Movie

The boy in the striped pyjamas is a movie based on John Boyne´s novel. The film talks about the horror of a world war II extermination camp and the different lives of an 8 year-old boys one the son of the camp's nazi commandant, the other a Jewish inmate. SS officer Ralf and his wife Elsa move from Berlin to the countryside with their children  Gretel and  Bruno, after Ralf is promoted to commandant of a Nazi concentration camp, implied to be Auschwitz. In this description of the movie we can see a difference between the book and the movie. In the book there is no name for Bruno's parents, they are called just mother and father, and as we can see, the parents do have a name on the film. As we all know in all the books the scene and stage are described with detail while the film has no much detail in those narrative aspects because you can see how it is. Another difference is that the film don´t show all the things that Bruno and Smuel went through before they became best friends. There is no much difference between the novel and the film because it´s a short novel that can be turn into a film without taking away important scenes or situations.

The Author

John Boyne was born in Dublin, Ireland, in 1971.  He studied English Literature at Trinity College, Dublin, and creative writing at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, where he was awarded the Curtis Brown prize. His early writing consisted mostly of short stories and he published a number of them. His first story, The Entertainments Jar, was shortlisted for the Hennessy Literary Award in Ireland. In total, he has published about 70 short stories.

His 2006 novel, "The boy in the striped pyjamas" , was made into an award-winning Miramax film. The novel itself won 2 Irish Book Awards, the Bisto Book of the Year, and was shortlisted or won a host of international awards. Amongst other accolades, it spent more than 80 weeks at no.1 in Ireland, topped the New York Times Bestseller List, and was the bestselling book in Spain in both 2007 and 2008. Worldwide, it has sold more than 5 million copies.

In April 2012, at the Hennessy Literary Awards in Dublin, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame for my body of work.

Führer: is the name that germans give to Adolf Hitler that means leader.

Herr: a german word that means Mister

Lieutenant: a junior commissioned officer in many nations' armed forces.

Crowded: uncomfortably close together.

Chapter 2.

In this chapter Bruno and his family moved into the new house. Bruno realize that his new home is all the opposite from his old one. He was a little bit concern, because in his old house there were other big houses and people around the street and in the opposite way, there was this new house that was placed in a lonely and desolate place. The author describes the new and the old houses very detailed. Bruno is a boy who like to explore and read adventure books, for that reason he always look for a new place to explore in his new house.
When Bruno was searching for something to do outside through his window, he found a kind of farm where all the people in there were using a kind of pyjamas, the reality was that "the farm" was really a concentration camp. Generalizing this chapter talks about tha bad treat that the germans give to the jewish people in the concentration camps and also the conflicts between german people and jewish people. It also explains how a kid can´t understand the reason because different races are in war and can´t be nice between them, because when you are young it doesn´t matter the race, religion or skin color, it just matter to be a human beeing to be treated as one.

The book.

"The boy in the striped pyjamas" is a novel written by John Boyne an Irish writer that lasted only two and a half days writting this novel. The book sold over 5 million copies around the world because of it's content. A book that talks about world war II and also talks about how people always get what they give is a combination that sensitize us and also make us to consider what kind of  life we are living and also what are the things that we are doing wrong.
It's also a history about world war II telled from other perception that the one that is given by the history books.
In my opionion this one is a novel that many people should read, because it does not only talk about what happened with jewish people and german people in world war II it also talks about how we have to value our lifes and also simple things as the freedoom that we have in our daily lifes. So in conclusion this novel is a good recomendation for all the people to read, because it will show you the reallity of things and how people can show you a different reallity of the same things situations or problems.

About the characters.

Bruno is an eight year old kid who lives with his mum, dad and his old sister Gretel. He lives in an enormous and beautiful house with his servers.
One of them is called Maria, who is the principal server in the house and also the nanny of the children.The other one is called Lars, he is the butler of the house.
 There is no name for his mum in the novel, but it is described as a beautiful woman with short and red hair. She is very sweet and always is submissive with her husband.
 There is also no name for his dad in the novel. His dad is a high ranking ss-officer from the Adolf´s Hitler trops. He is a serious man whose work Bruno doesn´t know anything about his work.
 There is also his old sister Gretel. She is a twelve year old girl who Bruno doesn´t like so much. Bruno describes her as a silly and crazy girl who doesn´t know anything.
Pavel is a prisioner from the concentration camp that was a server in Bruno´s house.
The general Koetler, is the assistant of Bruno´s dad, that is a serious and severe man whose Bruno is afraid of.
 Smuel is a jewish boy who is imprisoned in a the concentration camp that his dad is working on. At frist Bruno thinks that Smuel is a very strange and quiet boy, but at the end he and Smuel get into very good friends.

Chapter 1

This chapter talks about the situacion that Germany presents in world war II. It talks about how the nazi group and militaries had to move from the city to German camps near to the extermination camps. It does not talk so much about the what happened between two boys of different clases. One of them is the son of a military head in world war II he's named Bruno, he lives in a huge house with his mum, dad and sister. The other one was a jewish child who was jailed in the extermination camp. This part of the novel show us how a child lives in wealth, with all he wants,while other people are in such horrible situations, and that still happen in our daily lifes.

About this project.

I don't like to read a lot as I said before, but this was a really interesting book. The reason is because it talks, in certain way, about the world war II, and I'm really into that theme or that part of the world history. It also talks about what could happen when someone break human rights. It also talks about the equality that must be between every kind of person in the world no matter their race, religion or skin color. I'm not really interesed about post about a novel in a blog but I think that if it talks about something really interesant other people should know about the content of the book.
